Kanwal Shauzab is a Pakistani politician, social scientist, researcher, and public policy and media expert. She currently serves as president of the PTI Women Wing Pakistan and is a member of the PTI Political/Core Committee.
The Kanwal Shauzab biography states that she was born in Sargodha, Pakistan, and holds a master’s in English literature and linguistics as well as an M.Phil. She joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 1997 at the age of 15.
Kanwal was elected as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) (2018-2022) and served as Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives. She also held positions as secretary general for the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), convener of the subgroup for SDG 6 (Water & Sanitation) with the Federal Parliamentary Task Force on SDGs, and member of the Parliamentary Committee on the erstwhile FATA.
