Meera Vijay Antony suicide has created a stir. The tragic suicide of Meera, the 16-year-old daughter of Vijay Antony and Fatima, has sent shockwaves through the Tamil cinema industry. Meera, born in 2007, was the elder daughter of the couple. She was a dedicated student in her 12th grade, attending a private school in Chennai, and harbored dreams of a future career in medicine. Regrettably, Meera had been grappling with mental stress in the past few months, making her untimely passing all the more distressing for her family and the film community.

Meera had been battling mental stress for several months and was receiving treatment for her condition. Tragically, on September 19, 2023, she was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in her room. Immediate efforts were made to rush her to a private hospital in Chennai, but, devastatingly, she was declared deceased before reaching the hospital. Following this heartbreaking incident, her mortal remains were transported to the Omandur Government Hospital, where autopsy reports confirmed her suicide. Finally, Meera's body was brought to Vijay Antony's residence in Alwarpet, Chennai, as the family grappled with this profound loss.
