Muhammad Khan Bhatti is a Pakistani civil servant and serves as the Secretary of the Punjab Assembly in the BPS-22 grade. The Muhammad Khan Bhatti biography notes that he was born on April 12, 1968, in Farrukhpur Bhattian, Mandi Bahauddin.
He started his career in 1988 as a grade-5 clerk in the Punjab Agriculture Department. In 1996, he joined the Punjab Assembly in grade 11 and quickly advanced to grade 19. In 2002, he was appointed Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for Political Affairs. He later served as additional and special secretary in the chief minister’s secretariat.
On March 8, 2008, he became Secretary of the Punjab Assembly. He was briefly dismissed during the PML-N government (2008–2018) but was reinstated by the Lahore High Court. In 2022, he served as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister before returning to the Punjab Assembly in January 2023.
