Dr. Sania Nishtar SI FRCP is a Pakistani physician, cardiologist, senator, public health activist, and author. She is the CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. She founded the non-governmental think tank Heartfile in 1998. She served as Federal Minister in Pakistan's 2013 caretaker government and as Special Assistant to the PM on Poverty Alleviation (2018-2022), heading the Ehsaas Program and the BISP.
