Waseem Qadir Joins PML-N

Waseem Qadir, an independent candidate backed by PTI from NA-121 Lahore has announced his decision to join PML-N, along with seven other newly elected independent candidates from the National and Punjab assemblies.

In a video and statement shared on PML-N's social media platforms, Waseem Qadir, who defeated PML-N stalwart Rohail Asghar in NA-121 (Lahore-V), held a meeting with Maryam Nawaz in Lahore. During the meeting, Waseem Qadir,NA-121 winner, who previously served as the General Secretary of PTI Lahore, expressed his full trust and confidence in the leadership of PML-N's supremo Nawaz Sharif and formally announced his decision to join the party.

Addressing the media in Lahore, Waseem Qadir explained that his decision to align with PML-N was the result of extensive consultations with local constituents and allies. Maryam Nawaz welcomed Qadir into the party, expressing appreciation for his decision.

Additionally, seven newly elected independent candidates from the National and Provincial Assemblies have also joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
