Kodri

Kodri is type of type of millet, somewhat similar to barley. These are whitish to cream colored grains, which are very nutritious. Its taste is quite similar to that of broken rice or Rice kanji. It is largely consumed by the poorer and working class community in India. You can cook it by pressure cooking or steaming, just like the way you cook rice. It can be eaten either plain or with masalas added. You can also try eating it by adding little melted ghee.
