PMDC announces result of foreign graduate exams

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council on Tuesday announced
the results of the National Examination Board examinations taken by Pakistani
nationals with foreign basic medical and dental qualifications.
The examinations were held in collaboration with Dow University of Health
Sciences Karachi at Pakistan-China Center and Margalla Hotel in Islamabad.
In the NEB Step-I exam (basic subjects theory), 1,450 candidates appeared. Of
them, 333 were declared successful.
In the NEB Step-II examination (clinical subjects theory), 1,087 candidates
appeared. Of them, 572 candidates passed the examination. In Step-I examination,
the pass rate was 23 per cent and in Step-II examination 52 per cent.
