Ibn-e-Ansha is a great writer than poet I have read all of his writing work and I admire him a lot but his poetry are not so much appealing as compare to its writing.

Ibn-e-Insha is not just a good poet, he was a great humorist and novel writer as well. I like his novel Chaltay Ho To Cheen Ko Chaliye is the great travelogue of him.

Ibn-e-Insha real name Sher Mohammad khan was born on June 15, 1927 in Phillaur tehsil of Jalandhar District, Punjab, India. Ibn-e-Insha is recognized as one of the best and renowned poets, columnist, and travelogue writer of his generation. His work depicts his sense of humor; and his work has been cherished by both Urdu writers and critics. His poetry collection has a distinguishing diction laced with language reminiscent of Amir Khusro. The usage of words and construction is heard in the more plain dialects of the Hindi-Urdu complex of languages. Ibn-e-Insha poetry forms and style has a deep influence on generations of young poets. Some of his famous poetic pearls include Chand Nagar, Nagri Nagri Phira Musafir, Ibn Battuta Kay Taqub Main, Urdu ki Akhri Kitab, Khat Insha Jee Kay, Chaltay Ho Tow Cheen Ko Chaliye and many others.
