Mere ajnabi, mere aashna
Tu misar ke aina khane mein
Tere khal o khad ke siwa mujhey
Kaheen aur kuch na dikhai de
Yeh azab-e-touq o rasan mera
Kisi qasar-e-khawab o khiyal tak
Mere zehan ko na rasai de
Mujhey rasta na sujhai de
To yeh jo apne saron pe hey
Yeh jo baam o dar ke hisar hen
Yeh jo ratjagoon ki bahar hey
Yeh jo qurbaton ka khumar hey
To isi pe kia shab-e-umar ki sabhi rahaton ka madar hey?
