Moonlit night

Poet: Muniza Wasi By: Muniza Wasi, KARACHI

Once in a moonlit night
walking along a silvery path
shuddering in the cold surrounding
thinking all along of the past
deep in thoughts came across
shimmering water flowing soft
stars in the sky far above
just appeared at my feet
swimming, swaying in the stream
beauty had me entranced;
Nature has a strange effect
cooling, soothing heavy hearts.
