It is most regrettable that by disregarding the modern global
trends like renunciation of war, peaceful settlement of disputes and economic
development in wake of the spread of coronavirus and its negative economic
impacts almost all over the world, including India, New Delhi’s hegemonic
designs are destabilizing the region and its peace.
To achieve its secret designs,in accordance with the designs of Prime Minister
Modi, the leader ofHindu extremist ruling party BJP, India has accelerated
interference in the internal affairs of regional countries. For the purpose,
Indian military and intelligence agency RAW have been given free hand to target
Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and other regional countries through manipulation
of political dissent, ethnic divisions and economic backwardness.India that has
become the epicenter of terrorism in South Asia is therefore sabotaging the
peace process between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and subsequently the entire
region by perpetrating terrorism.
In this respect, reliable sources as mentioned by the Pakistani media on August
18, 2020 revealed that the Afghanistan-basedTehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has
merged with its splinter groups Jamat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) and Hizb-ul-Ahrar (HuA) in
Afghanistan. Their sole objective is to restart the terrorist activities in
Pakistan, while at the same time to sabotagethe efforts for restoring peace and
bringing stability in the war-ravaged Afghanistan.Afghanistan’s National
Directorate of Security (NDS) and India’s Research & Analysis Wing(RAW)have
reportedly played a key role in forming their nexus. A mutually signed agreement
between the collaborators has designated Mufti Noor Wali as the chief of TTP,
making him responsible for all planned terrorist activities inside Pakistan and
Afghanistan.
Islamabad has been repeatedly warning Kabul against turning a blind eye
towardsthe TTP and other terrorist outfits who had fled to Afghanistan to escape
counter-terrorist operations in Pakistan. Besides, the UN report of July 26,
2020 disclosed: “The banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and its splinter group
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) continue to target Pakistan from their bases in
Afghanistan…the significant presence of ISIL-K (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant
Khorasan) in Afghanistan”, which the UN warns “now pursues a global agenda”.The
UN report warns of “a strong presence of ISIL-India in Kerala and Karnataka. The
ISIL-K considers the Afghan territory as a base for spreading terrorist
influence across the wider region…The investigators found links between Indian
nationals and terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka”.
It is notable that the four heavily armed militants on June 29 this year staged
a brazen terror attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in the country’s
high-security commercial hub Karachi. The militants belonging to the BLA-linked
Majeed Brigade arrived in a car, opened indiscriminate fire, lobbed grenades and
killed four security guards and a police officer. Later, the Police and Rangers’
personnel killed all the terrorists and foiled the plot of taking over the PSX
compound. In another incident, Pakistan security forces successfully thwarted an
attack on China’s Consulate in Karachi on November 23, 2018. In the exchange of
firing, two policemen and two civilians were killed when the security guards
intercepted them at a checkpoint. Again the BLA claimed the responsibility. A
senior counterterrorism expert Raja UmerKhattab told a newspaper that “the
nationalist group fromBalochistan was behind the failed attack on PSX Karachi,
while RAW was the mastermind of both the attacks…Their aim was to damage
Pakistan’s image in the world as well as hit the economy of our country.”
RAW in collusion with Mossad and NDS has established terror networks in
Afghanistan and is assisting cross border incursions and terror activities in
various regions of Pakistan through Baloch separatist elements and anti-Pakistan
groups like Jundullah and TTP, beside their affiliated outfits. RAW is also
using the ISIS terrorists who claimed the responsibility of a number of
terrorism-related attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan. These terror entities
also abducted and killed many Chinese and Iranian nationals. These agencies,
especially RAW, are out to destabilize Afghanistan, Tibetan regions of China,
Iranian Sistan-Balochistan, particularly Balochistanby arranging subversive
activities, promoting acrimonious sense of dissent, sectarian violence and
arousing sentiments of separatism.
In this respect, Indo-Israel lobbies which are well-penetrated in the US
administration and are working in other Western countries became proactive to
manipulate the war on terror. Besides, Pakistan is the only nuclear country in
the Muslim world that hasclose ties with China. Hence, it has become the target
of Indo-Israel covert plan. New Delhi and Tel Aviv are manipulating the double
standards of the West in relation to terrorism and human rights vis-à-vis
Pakistan, China and Iran.
Pakistan Armed Forces have successfully broken the back of foreign-backed
terrorists in theZarb-e-Azb, Radd-ul-Fasaad and Khyber-4 operations, while the
country’s premierintelligence agency ISI has broken networks of terror groups by
capturing militants and thwarting terror attempts. Peace was restored in
Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. The recent terror assaults in North
Waziristan and Balochistan indicate that the CIA-led RAW, NDS andMossad want to
damage the CPEC project. The US, India and some Western countries oppose the
project. So, they are backing the separatist elements, TTP and affiliated groups
for subversive activities.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met US special envoy for Afghan
Reconciliation ZalmayKhalilzad at Islamabad on July 1, 2020. After the meeting,
Qureshi said: “Pakistan is ready to cooperate with regional and international
stakeholders for enduring and peaceful political solution to the Afghan issue.
The development of whole region depends on establishing peace in Afghanistan.
India has been continuously trying to destabilize Pakistan to divert attention
from its internal chaos. India is interfering in Balochistan at the same time it
is adversely affecting peace efforts in Afghanistan.”As regards the
recently-held intra-Afghan dialogue in Doha, Washington appreciates Islamabad’s
positive role.
Zalmay who frequently visited Pakistan and met country’s civil and military
leadership admired Pakistan’s role in the US-Taliban peace dialogue. It was due
to Pakistan’s key role in Doha that on February 29, this year, the US and
Taliban signed the historical agreement for bringing peace in Afghanistan.
Nevertheless, India is creating unrest by using terrorist elements for carrying
out violent incidents with a view to shifting the blame game on Pakistan. New
Delhi is also misleading Kabul and Washington to delay orcancel the holding of
the intra-Afghan dialogue. One can conclude that the dangerous nexus between
RAW, NDS, TTP and ISIS, backed by the Indian government is targeting Pakistan,
Afghanistan and other regional countries to fulfil Indian designs at the cost of
peace in the region.
