Cruel Act in Pakistan as Camel’s Leg Amputated

A poor camel fell victim to cruelty in Pakistan’s Sanghar district. The unfortunate animal had wandered into an agricultural field in the Mundh Jamrao area of Sanghar, seeking fodder. However, its presence angered the field’s owner, who decided to take matters into his own hands.

The landlord, along with his employees, physically tortured the camel. But their cruelty didn’t stop there. In a gruesome act, they amputated one of the camel’s legs using a sharp tool. An image of the man holding the severed leg has circulated on social media, sparking outrage and condemnation from thousands of people.

Law enforcement authorities have taken action in response to this horrifying incident. At least five people have been arrested for their involvement in the animal abuse. Two of the suspects have confessed to the crime. However, it’s worth noting that the landlord himself has not been directly charged despite his role in the brutal act.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced that he will provide two camels to the person whose animal was harmed. Meanwhile, politicians from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have expressed their concern and ensured that proper medical treatment is being provided to the injured camel.

This incident highlights the need for stricter laws and greater awareness about animal rights. Let us hope that justice prevails and such acts of cruelty are met with severe consequences.
