stand for palestine
This piece is not just a collection of words — it is the scream of the oppressed, the sighs of grieving mothers, the sobs of orphaned children, and the cry of a living conscience. This article stands as witness to the horrors seen by the eyes that watched injustice unfold in front of them.
Palestine is not just a land — it is a feeling, a wound carved deep into the heart of the Muslim Ummah.
Where is our thought, our religion now? Who are we? What are we? What are we doing? Are we human? Are we Muslim? Who are we?
These questions have gripped my mind. When did we go from being human to animals? We were a Muslim nation, we were believers. We were the ones who would die for the brother who cast an evil glance at our fellow.
What have we become? Have we committed some sin as punishment? Or have we forgotten humanity, Islam, everything?
Yes, yes… yes… it’s true, we’ve forgotten. Today is the time to speak about Islam, justice, and fairness. It’s the time to prove it through our actions.
But which path have we taken? Is there a preparation for a painful punishment being made for us too? (Now is the time to rise) (Now is the time to fight, to sacrifice ourselves). On October 7, 2023: Hamas fighters began attacks on several areas in Israel, resulting in Israeli military air and ground strikes on Gaza Strip. This day is considered the beginning of the war. By March 2025, more than 50,810 Palestinians have lost their lives.
Among them, nearly 18,000 are children and women.
The number of the injured is over 115,000.
Israeli casualties:
Over 1,400 Israelis have died in this war.
Enough, our silence is giving Israel more courage. Please, rise! Raise your voice for the truth, lest we stand before the Palestinians on Judgment Day and cannot meet their eyes.
We are not helpless. If we can protest for a small salary, if we can come out for women’s marches, if we can take to the streets for Imran Khan or Nawaz Sharif, then why not for the cause on which this country was founded — "What does Pakistan mean? La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah" The Islamic ideology, brotherhood, culture, justice, and fairness — where are they now? This Pakistan was a country that could not bear injustice and oppression, but today it occupies those very same levels.
Isn’t the race for a “rich life” and “money-making” going to destroy us? Are we even human anymore? Do we deserve to call ourselves Muslims? Why are we silent? Why?
Palestine is being wiped off the map, and we… what are we doing? Reels, TikTok, dramas, Netflix, Snapchat — we’re so busy in all these things that we fail to notice the bloodshed, oppression, and brutal killings of our own people!
Are we awake? Or are we suffering from some hallucination (illusion)? Is this a dangerous dream? Or are these the cries of our death?
If nothing is happening, then why are we doing nothing? Why…? Just a few minutes were spent thinking about this — when someone dies in our home, we become so sensitive that one person may go mad or another may give their life in grief, a state of mourning spreads everywhere. We don’t take children to places where there is mention of any accident. If we witness an accident, we quickly hide the children so they aren’t scared. Some people, Mashallah, can’t forget that shock for years.
Now think about what is happening to those who see their loved ones flying in the air due to bomb explosions in front of their eyes. Some of their souls leave their bodies just by witnessing that scene. And we, who during the COVID days used to say, “I am depressed,” “people committed suicide,” “some became mentally ill”… Today, it seems those were just rumors to increase channel ratings, they were giving us pain.
Certainly, politics must have been involved here too, otherwise today when Palestine, Gaza is drenched in blood, no one is listening. No one is saying "depression," or “heart attacks” anymore. Everyone is lost in their normal routines.
Think about it, if an accident happens right in front of you, and a mother loses five children at once, she would go insane. So imagine, over there, so many people have probably lost their minds in grief for their loved ones. These 50, 80, or 100 people are not the end of it; many more have already been martyred.
For God's sake! Rise! Pray, those who can post, let them post. Those who can speak aloud, let them speak. InshaAllah, Allah will help in thousands. Just start this movement, just like Allah helped Muslims at Badr, He will help here too.
Just like you cry when your children, father, brother, sister, or mother is in pain, today, cry for those mothers who see their children being torn to pieces in front of them. Now is the time to rise, to speak for the truth.
Rise! Stop this war, which has tried to extinguish the lights of Palestine. This is not their war; this is the war of the entire Muslim world. Today, right now, we have time, and we never know when our breath will be the last. Rise! Fight! Surely Allah supports the believers, and the disbelievers will be humiliated and perish. For Palestine's name, we suffered, we died. You slept, we cried.Better than us are the non-Muslim people, their students who protest, fear nothing, while we, our youth, just rest, engage in addictions, and when cases like rape occur, they come out on the streets. This is good, it should be, when for one girl, the Pakistani voice of the youth rises to get justice for a victim, then why hasn’t Allah given them the strength to raise their voices for Palestine, and wake up their current government, and those army officers who wear thousands of medals on their chests, shout slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and walk proudly?
You were silent, we cried. You were Muslim, we are Muslim.
When we screamed, you were still asleep.
My newborn children were cut apart, you were busy saying "McDonald's, McDonald's."
Our hands were stained with children’s blood, "they were giving us the means to die," while you were savoring your food and drinks.
We were eating bullets in our sleep. We are Muslim, you were Muslim.
Do you have any consciousness? Do you think at all?
Don’t remain so unaware.
You are the killers of Al-Aqsa.
We are Muslim, you were Muslim.
Now, open your minds. Now, speak up!
The people of that land are speaking out.
Tonight, endure the pain, O true believers, we will sleep tomorrow.
We are Muslim, you were Muslim.
Do not drink Pepsi bottles.
You are the ones who eat the flesh of your own race, drink their blood.
We are Muslim, you were Muslim.
Please, whenever you buy anything, make sure to check for the Israeli barcode 729. There is an app for this, and by scanning the QR code, you can find out which products are Palestinian. If we boycott today, we can save Palestine, otherwise, we are purchasing products that fund our own Muslim genocide.
May Allah grant us strength, wisdom, and the ability to stand up for the truth. Ameen.
