Russia, despite sanctions imposed by the United States of America and European countries, has shown resilience and not only survived but also become an important player in the power game.
Russia is the largest country in the world, encompassing one-eighth of the Earth’s inhabitable earth mass. Russia extends across eleven time zones and shares land boundaries with fourteen countries. It is the world’s ninth most populous country. The Russian economy stands as the ninth largest by nominal GDP and the sixth largest by GDP purchasing power parity (PPP). Its mineral and energy resources are the world’s largest, and its figures for oil production and natural gas production rank high globally. Russia possesses the largest stockpiles of nuclear weapons, and has the fifth largest military expenditure. Russia is also a permanent member of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and enjoys veto power. It is also a member of the G20, the SCO, BRICS, the APEC, the OSCE, and the WTO. It is also a leading member of CIS, the CSTO, and the EAEU. Russia is home to 30 UNESCO World Heritage sites.
It has an area of 17,098,246 sq km, which is twice as large as the USA, the largest among the 234 countries of the world and is 11% of the total earth mass.

It has the world’s fourth-largest coastline of 37,653 kilometers. Russia by landmass is larger than three continents, and has the same surface area as Pluto. Russia, as one of the world’s only three countries bordering three oceans, has links with a greater number of seas.
Russia is home of over 100,000 rivers and has one of the world’s largest surface water reserves, with lakes containing approximately one quarter of the world’s liquid fresh water. Lake Baikal, the largest and most important among Russia’s freshwater bodies, is the world’s deepest, purest, oldest most capacious freshwater lake, containing over one-fifth of the world’s fresh surface water. Russia is second only to Brazil in total renewable water resources.
Although Western countries imposed sanctions on Russia and tried to block its way to economically move forward but these sanctions misfired and instead of having bad effects on Russia affected west badly. Russia become a country of great opportunities specially for Asians. There are eleven time zones in Russia so there is a lot variety in Russian territory. Russia’s rail network is the largest in the world. Train also runs from Russia to China and Mongolia. If someone is travelling to Russia from Finland or from Estonia and goes to St Petersburg in a Cruise for two or three days and if someone living in Europe for example in Finland or Norway one does not need any visa on cruise and if anyone have a Pakistani Passport then a stamp would-be put-on Passport and Pakistanis can visit Russia for 3 to 4 days and no question will be asked.
Russia has a population of 143 million and is 9th largest country of the world. Russia is a Muslim friendly country and there are about 14 million an estimated 10% of total population. Last year 18,000 Russian Muslim visited Saudi Arabia for Hajj (Pilgrimage) . 70% Russian have very good opinion about Muslims. 17% are neutral so it is a need of time that Muslim in general and Pakistanis in particular get benefit of opportunities available in Russia. There is no Islamophibia in Russia. A message of love and peace should reach to Russian on behalf of 1.75 Muslims around the word and 240 million people of Pakistan. Daghistan is an area with 95 % Muslims and Khabib is a very famous sportsman from this region and is very popular among Muslim youth. In Chechnya there are about 92 % Muslims and Ingushetia has 96% Muslim population. There are seventeen different Russian regions where Muslim live. There are only 1200 Pakistanis in Russia and serious efforts are needed to increase Pakistanis presence there. There is a need to create awareness among Pakistani youth about this.

Russia offers digital visa to 44 countries although Pakistan is not included in this list but our Foreign Ministry can negotiate with Russian counterpart to get this facility for Pakistanis. Currently Pakistanis can apply for Russian visa. Tourists Visa can be obtained for 90 days. About five million tourists visit Russia every year.
Pakistanis can also apply for investors visa in Russia and people in this category can get three years residency and after three years one can get Russian passport. Investor can establish a company where they have to employ ten people and to generate revenue of ten million rubles equivalent to 30 million Pakistani rupees. Russia has the cheapest programme and Pakistanis should avail it.
Pakistani youth have enormous opportunities to study in Russia and get quality education there. There are 90 super fellowship programmes in Russia. Nurses, doctors, and Physiotherapists have good chances to get a job there. Students can go there and to do a Ph.D. or a Master from there. Some universities also arrange English English-speaking programme. There is also a MIT collaboration campus present in Russia, and Pakistani students get enrolled there. The study cost in Russia is 80% less than USA and UK.
