Have you ever wondered what life is like for a prisoner who has never been charged with a crime? How does a child sleep at night, imprisoned simply for protesting? What agony must a mother feel, whose son has been missing in a torture cell for years? If you’ve never thought about these questions, perhaps you too belong to that silent majority of the world that sees oppression but turns its gaze away. Today, the Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails are not just inmates — they are living testaments to oppressed humanity. And yet, tragically, their cries fail to reach the ears of the world. As of July 2025, the number of Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons has exceeded 11,000. Among them are: More than **350 children, 21 women, And over 3,400 detainees held without any charges or trial — merely on the basis of suspicion. These are people who were never convicted, never tried, never released — just locked away in blind imprisonment. Administrative detention means throwing someone into prison without trial, solely on the basis of secret intelligence. Israel uses this law to imprison thousands of Palestinians for years — without any court, lawyer, or right to defend themselves. This is not justice — it is the worst form of tyranny disguised as justice. Between October 2023 and June 2025, 73 Palestinian prisoners** have died in Israeli custody. Most of them were sick — yet denied medical treatment. Many went on hunger strikes — but no one listened to their pleas. Khader Adnan went on a hunger strike for 87 days, demanding justice — Israel responded by letting him die. This is a kind of death that happens in silence, yet devours the soul of all humanity. In southern Israel, the Sde Teiman camp is not a prison — it is a torture facility. There, prisoners are: * Stripped naked and tied like animals, * Their wounds salted instead of treated, * Given insults instead of food, * And treated not as humans, but as serial numbers. This camp is a scar on the face of humanity — one that may not fade for centuries. Over 350 children are currently imprisoned in Israeli jails.iThese are children who never held a gun, never saw a bomb — their only crime is that they are phalestinian. They are kept in isolation, denied the right to see their parents, And subjected to mental and physical abuse. This is a childhood growing up in captivity — and may be buried there too. The United Nations, human rights organizations, the international media — they all know what is happening in Israeli prisons. Yet all remain silent. Why? Because Israel is a powerful state . Because the oppressed bear the name Palestinian Because the conscience of the world lies buried under the weight of political interests. No one dares ask:If these detainees are criminals, where is the trial? If they are innocent, why aren't they released? And if they are human, why aren’t they treated like human beings? What feels most painful when seeing the plight of Palestinian prisoners is not their imprisonment —But the deafening silence of the world. This silence strengthens the hand of the oppressor and silences the voice of the oppressed. If the body is imprisoned, the soul may remain free — But when the conscience is caged, all of humanity dies. Now is the time to speak. Now is the time to write. Now is the time to shake the world awake. These are the same Israelis who draw global sympathy in the name of the Holocaust — Yet their own actions surpass the cruelty of Hitler himself. In Palestine, humanity is gasping — facing hunger, torture, and injustice. And yet today’s so-called civilized human — even after seeing, hearing, and reading it all — remains silent. isn’t this silence itself a form of oppression?
