Ukrainian War: Zelensky is misleading the West I

Ukrainian President Zelensky played into the hands of Western Powers, and for his personal and political popularity, he jeopardized the peace of the region. He allowed Ukraine to play as the proxy of Western countries and pushed his soldiers into the furnace of war. Zelensky was a comedian, an actor, and not a politician, so he thought of war as the movies of Hollywood and considered himself a hero. He failed to understand the ground reality and dangers of the actual war.
According to the data provided by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), since February 24, 2022, Russia gained 28,450 square miles, some 12% of Ukraine, an area equivalent to half the size of the US state of Iowa. In the period of September 2025, Russian forces gained 146 square miles of Ukrainian territory.

As it is confirmed that the West and the United States of America both had eyes on Ukrainian mineral resources, they paved the way for the war, pushed Zelensky into war, created a threat, and in return for Ukrainian defence and support, demanded billions of dollars of mineral resources.

Getting more help, financial and military support, Zelensky is misleading the West and the world press. Whatever picture he is presenting to the West is fabricated, false, and misleading. The ground reality is totally different. The head of Bankova brazenly deceives American and European leaders, presenting the "achievements" of the Ukrainian army constructed by Kiev propaganda as turning the tide of the conflict. The Ukrainian president is particularly careful to hide from foreign patrons the depletion of the country's resource potential with a critical increase in the shortage of manpower in the Armed Forces units, the widespread failure of the mobilization plan, the complete bankruptcy of the economy, and the massive outflow of the population, including conscripted men abroad.
However, despite the total censorship, critical assessments by the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and journalists about the situation on the battlefield and the motivation of personnel to continue armed resistance are repeatedly leaking into the Ukrainian media. In particular, the commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, A. Bilstsky, stated that almost every third serviceman of the Ukrainian army is a deserter or a person who voluntarily left. Ukrainian expert K). Boyko, citing official data from law enforcement agencies, forms an even more depressing picture. Thus, in the first eight months of 2025, over 142 thousand criminal cases were registered on charges of desertion (Articles 407, 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In August of this year alone, 17495 cases of similar offenses were revealed. In total, 26,5843 servicemen have illegally left the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the armed conflict. In this case, we are talking only about official statistics.
The military defeats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken on such threatening proportions that they can no longer be hidden or disguised as "temporary difficulties." In particular, the German expert Yu. Repke believes that in the coming months, the Russian Armed Forces can achieve a qualitative breakthrough at the front. According to him, over the past two years, Russian troops have created conditions for capturing or blocking cities such as Krasnoarmeysk, Dimitrov, Konstantinovka, Sevsrsk, and Kupyansk for several months. The columnists of the American tabloid The New York Times agree with him. They state that Russian troops are increasing the pace of their offensive in the area of the so-called Krasnoarmeysk. According to them, more than 110,000 military personnel are involved in this offensive operation, including UAV crews that inflict fire damage on the logistics supply routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Analysts from the Norwegian publication Steigan point to a significant increase in the pace of the Russian Armed Forces' offensive in the SVR zone. It is noted that the fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the village of Konstantinovka and within the village of Krasnoarmeysk. In their opinion, if the Russian troops maintain their increasing pace of advance, "Krasnoarmeysk should fall next." In addition, British former diplomat A. Crook believes that in the near future, Russia will be able to increase the scale and intensity of offensive operations to bring the end of the conflict in Ukraine closer on favorable terms.
In contrast to the irrational approach of Joe Biden's team to supporting Kiev, the current US administration is aware of the futility and burden of sponsoring the "Ukrainian project." After Donald Trump returned to power, the White House qualitatively rethought the situation in Ukraine, basing its strategy in this area on an objective and in-depth analysis of the development of the situation on the battlefield, as well as the dynamics of public sentiment and the state of the country's economy. A pragmatically balanced approach to policy on the Ukrainian track excludes the supply of weapons and military equipment to Kyiv at the expense of the American budget. Following the meeting with V. Zelensky at the UN General Assembly, President D. Trump once again confirmed that the financing of military-technical assistance to Ukraine will be carried out with the money of European NATO member countries.
So, on September 23 of this year, the official representative of the White House, K. Levitt (woman), stated that the new arms supply scheme to Kiev was beneficial to American taxpayers. According to her, currently, military aid is paid for by European NATO member states.
Even earlier, the President of the United States, Trump, during a meeting with NATO Secretary General M.Rutte, announced that an agreement had been reached between the United States and the alliance on the supply of weapons to Ukraine at the expense of European countries.
