Today, we stand at a crossroads where “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) is being imposed not merely as a convenience but as a “dominant narrative.” It is impossible to deny the fact that the journey of the future is incomplete without AI, and this technology will play a key role in human progress, but the situation faced at this time is alarming. The advertising campaigns and financial interests of large companies have presented AI in such a manner that the new generation is pushing its original human intelligence behind the scenes.
Architect Generation: A Manifesto of Intellectual Autonomy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI), as soon as it was released in November 2022, plunged the entire world into a state of wonder with its magical style. From providing all kinds of information in a few seconds to the astonishing process of creating voice, image, and even video, it created a stir in every field of life. While the deficiencies of this technology were still being realized, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, introduced the world’s first “AI Minister” named “Diella,” and that too for the eradication of corruption within a republic (democracy). This incident forced scholars across the world to think: are the characteristics of Artificial Intelligence truly of this level?
When such important news and articles passed before my eyes, I presented my reservations as a political analyst. A fundamental point was under discussion in the articles of scholars and important global institutions: “Can a machine perform such work, and can its results—leave alone being better than—even be compatible with the human mind?” Under this intellectual struggle, I presented a theory in the term of “The Diella Doctrine,” the spirit of which was essentially the essence of those very articles. The questions being raised regarding the matter of Diella were expressed in this Doctrine through a cohesive verbal style, which were approximately the same thoughts of the intellectuals who had raised this issue in different ways.
But when the stage for the solution to this problem arrived, I began deep intellectual research and, as a solution, introduced for the first time the term ‘Architect Generation’ within The Diella Doctrine. According to this, the moral training of these youth is the only path that can organize content to achieve the best and most welfare-oriented results from Artificial Intelligence, without coming under the pressure of any system. We will have to search for individuals possessing these capabilities within the crowds of Generation Z (Gen Z) and Alpha.
The next difficult question was regarding the definition of this term, namely ‘Architect Generation.’ Since these two words had never existed together as a term before, nor was any clear definition available for them as a single term. Searching on internet browsers only brought up definitions of “Generative Intelligence” (Generative AI), which did not have even a remote connection to the concept of my formulated term. Therefore, through my intellectual thinking and continuous research, I succeeded in formulating a complete definition of ‘Architect Generation.’
After this, the next stage was the determination of the age of this generation, for which I began new research and named it the theory of the Architect Generation (the details of which can be found in the explanation of my theory). Nevertheless, after The Diella Doctrine, my theory of the ‘Architect Generation’ has emerged as an intellectual shield against this mental slavery. Its purpose is to extract the new generation from this ‘Generative’ spell and reinstate them to the position of ‘Architect’. I have attempted to integrate “Generative Intelligence” into the definition of the Architect Generation in such a way that AI is certainly an important element of this definition but does not become the reason for establishing dominance over the Architect Generation.
What is the Architect Generation? Architect Generation refers to that generation which, instead of sufficing with the ready-made answers of AI, possesses the capability to mold the raw material of knowledge into a new narrative through their insight, moral philosophy, and creative continuity. This is the generation that uses technology but does not allow it to become its ‘Architect’ (builder); rather, it determines the direction of the technology itself.
15 to 25 Years: The Last ‘Design Window’ for Humanity’s Survival The center of my theory is that ‘25-year deadline,’ which I call the ‘biological and intellectual design window.’ Three stages of the development of the human mind are extremely important (the details of which are linked in the theory on my blog).
If, at this delicate age of 25 years, the youth do not focus their attention on expressing their original and natural intelligence, they will fall victim to the advertising spell and propaganda of Artificial Intelligence and become deprived of their true creative abilities. After the age of 25, the basic structure of the human personality has already determined the destination of its future; or let us say that the education and training conducted up to this age remain as that bright ray of hope, with the support of which a person can struggle to reach their destination, but the actual time for laying the foundation has already passed. This is why the entire continuity of the future of humanity and the survival of its new light is associated with the living minds of the youth of this age and not with the lifeless data centers of Artificial Intelligence.
Dominance of AI or Human Intelligence? The unethical campaigns present in the market are bent on proving AI as a substitute for human intellect so that financial benefits can be obtained. We must understand that AI can ‘Generate’, but it cannot be an ‘Architect’. Just as Socrates changed the world by raising questions, Ibn al-Haytham by organizing reality, and Kant by applying the laws of human intellect upon nature, in the same way, the youth of today must also become an ‘Architect’.
Concluding Words We must prepare such a generation that uses AI as a ‘tool’ but prepares its own ‘mental map’. If we do not make the youth of the age of 15 to 25 years realize their own superiority today, then the history of the future will not be the history of human intelligence but will remain as the history of algorithms.
