Government is Accountable

(Shakoor Rasool, )

According to some recent surveys and reports Pakistani government took the loans of $ 444 Billions during the last eight months and due to which the rupee has come down up to 5.6 percent. The foreign exchange reserves falls from more then $ 14 Billions to $ 12.2 Billions with the decrease of almost $2.6 Billions. So now the government has to pay $1.1 Billions to IMF till 30th of June 2012. I neither seen anywhere nor studied but I assume that the more loans taken by the government, the more inflation will come. Because eventually government will pay these loans by rubbing that money from common people of the country and the loan which was taken for development, would be embezzled. Pakistan took the loan of 5 trillion Rupees in different eras during 1947 to 2008 but the present government individually took 5 trillion Rupees loan just in last four years and 8500 Billion Rupees were embezzled according to transparency international. On the other side the history of Khyber PahktoonKhwa never seen any corrupt government like this one, reported by transparency international. Further there will be no single person who doesn’t know about the hypocrisy of PML in all times of history.

The Federal and provincial governments are in the state of intoxication meanwhile more then 45 percent of Pakistanis are living in the single room houses, over 2 million people get only one time to eat and over 1.1 million children are suffering from child labor. The economy is going from bed to worse day by day but the president and the prime minister are enjoying luxurious life in the luxurious castles with over 30 million budgets per month. Though the government is now facing a very critical situation regarding tough judiciary, NRO, memo gate, PTI and so many other issues but it has to be accountable in front of Pakistani Have and Have Not.
