Today's daily Jang (as usual)
given a news that prices of Petrol( Gasoline ) are higher than other countries
(India, Bangladesh etc etc) in the region which really shocked me as being a
Encomiast and a student of the General Knowledge and also Alhamdulillah winner
of some TV Quiz programmes such as Neelam Ghar . I alwayz am in search of
different information from every source and according to my habit when ever I am
in travel/tour either in Airplane or at Lounges etc I alwayz try to talk/discuss
different people of different countries and naturally I alwayz am asking the
prices of the different things and income of the people in their countries to
compare it with the same of Pakistan. Recently when an Indian woman was sitting
next to me seat, I discussed her a lot of prices/income in India and finally we
both were agreed that about 75% prices( including Petrol) are higher in India
where income in Pakistan is more than India. Now when I read today's daily
Jang's this news , I was really shocked as atleast I can not expect such un-
believable (u may say un-trusted) news from them. MAY IT BE ONLY TO INCREASE
CIRCULATION OF THE NEWSPAERS AS SOME PEOPLE THIK THAT IF THEY WILL PUBLISH SUCH
NEWS THEN THREWR NEWSPAERS WILL INCREASED THEIR CIRCULATION. Neway read the
following prices of Petrol in world as are available at net( more trusted than
Daily Jang).

Here you can find information about petrol prices around the world. We present

sources. For the European Union countries, the data are updated regularly on a
monthly basis. For the other countries, the data are updated with a lag of
several months.
Petrol prices differ considerably across countries. The price of a liter of
gasoline in some of the petrol producing states is less than 20 cents for the
liter. In contrast, in many European countries, a liter of petrol cost more than
6 dollars. Prices also change over time. However, price movements are similar
across countries. They either increase or decrease everywhere
