Natural resources are the
valuable resources that are found under the surface of earth or seabed and can
be useful in many fields. They are an asset to a country as it helps largely in
economic and social progress. There are very few countries with enough natural
resources to their needs, amazingly, including Pakistan!
Pakistan is rich in all types of natural resources: coal, gas, oil to name a
few. Unfortunately, we are not making a good use; instead we are wasting them
carelessly. Pakistan is surrounded by a variety of troublemakers and problems,
most of which can be solved by careful planning and intelligent thinking.
If we ponder upon our problem, the first one that comes in our mind is loud
shedding. Our natural resources can easily provide enough energy to fulfill our
needs.
The economy of Pakistan is getting worse day by day. Only when politicians wake
up from their slumber of idleness, can our economy be strengthened. If we export
20 to 25 percent of our natural resources, we will earn enough money to
stabilize the economy.
We are getting short of basic need. We don’t even have enough money to lead a
healthy life. But, careful management can solve a lot of money and time. If we
turn of un necessary electrical appliances, when not in use, we can save us a
great deal of money as well as resources. We need to bring a positive change in
our thinking and planning to conserve valuable natural resources. Our leaders
along with public should realize the importance of natural resources and make
effective use of them sustainably and intelligently.
