I am not definite, however, I heard that The Mumllakat – I –Khudadad, after a
few years of its inception, was termed as ISLAMI JAMHURIA PAKISTAN and since
then her Head of the state is called President of Pakistan who is supposed to be
a Muslim by faith. I was a child and do not know how much efforts were put in by
Quaid-i-Azam, his colleague and other Muslims of the Sub Continent to have a
separate country. However, some friend of mine and teachers at school level told
me that the Unique land was bestowed to the Muslims of the Sub Continent after
lot of sacrifices (the biggest migration in history - 2, 00, 00, 000 human
beings had to leave their homes, 50, 00, 000 Muslims gave their lives, 63, 000
Muslim women / young girls were snatched by non Muslims and the others suffered
to the limit). How many of my near/far relatives were affected, is not known to
me, hence no need to mention the sacrifices / sufferings undergone for
attainment of Freedom. Somebody advised me to forget the commitment made with
Allah Almighty about running the country/system according to the Dictates of
Islam. Since I was not among them hence I cannot be held responsible for not
fulfilling the promise made with Allah Almighty.
As President of Pakistan, I have legal powers to issue Ordinances, which to my
judgment, are beneficial to democracy and betterment of the country. As
President of Pakistan, I am holding the Top Most Appointment hence I have to do
everything possible for the benefit of my countrymen as well. It was in this
context that I requested the ULMAA of Pakistan to find some way out whereby
payment / receipt of “Interest” under the present economic system is not
considered “SIN” when adjudged according to Islamic dictates (Shariah).
I am of the opinion that if Akbar the Great, despite being unable to read and
write, almost four and a half centuries ago, could invent “DEEN – I – ELAHI” and
many of the Courtier Mullahs supported him, why some of the Mullahs of the
modern and enlightened days as of ours, when requested by the learned/respected
President of Islami Jamhuria Pakistan, should turn down his request. Anyhow if
none acceded to my request made in the best interest of the Islami Jamhoria
Pakistan, I as President, through a Special Ordinance, can summon up some of the
“Privileged Ulmaa on whom Govt. of Pakistan has been showering her
gratifications” and bound them to accomplish the assignment within the specified
time. I am sure I will not be disappointed. If I foresee some failure, the
hand-picked Ulmmaa can be bent if “full pressure is developed through Punjab
Police - expert in pleasing the Boss for the desired results”.
Are not we all living in “Fools Paradise”? The Pakistanis are expecting a lot
from the Public representatives for enforcement of Islamic laws. They do not
know that once upon a time a very important Ministry was headed by a Senator
who, before the start of Cabinet Meeting, thrice incorrectly recited the Surah
Ikhlas. The poor chap, instead of admitting his FOLLY, threw the burden on the
person who had written the Surah on a piece of paper!! The other Ministers,
instead of taking the lead, were laughing. What a pity!!
Another incidence: Arif Nikkai, the then Chief Minister of Punjab, as Chief
Guest in Eid Milad – un - Nabi Program was seen smoking on the stage. Nobody
could dare to tell him that his act was against the sanctity of the occasion.
Last year (Dunya News Program “On The Front” December 2, 2015) Nawaz Sharif,
during his visit to Nepal, held secret meeting with Moodi, the PM of Bharat. At
one occasion during visit to Bharat, Nawaz Sharif expressed that only a line
separated the two countries otherwise we (Pakistanis and Bharatis) are the same
as far as culture, rites, customs, and habits are concerned!! What an effort to
negate the very Ideology of Pakistan, and undermining the struggle / sacrifices
of millions of Muslims of the Sub Continent for a separate homeland. Moreover
instead of meeting the Kashmiri leaders he preffered to spend evening with a
renowned actress/ poetess.This all happened while I, as President, am fully
guarding interests of Pakistan!! The country is in safe hands. No need to worry!
