Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games: Haider Ali wins gold medal for Pakistan

Haider Ali made history at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games after winning the gold medal. However, he is the first Pakistani who became a gold medalist in the Paralympic Games. His 55.26m throw in the Men’s Discus Throw Competition made him the winner.

The Athlete is suffering from Cerebral palsy disorder in which one part of a body becomes weakened as compared to other parts. He along with other para-athletes participated in the F37 category.
People from different walks of life are paying tribute to the Pakistani athlete. The US Embassy in Islamabad also congratulated him on the victory.
