World Cup Schedule – World Cup is about to begin in England and Wales and cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the nail-biting contests. Ten teams including Host England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Australia, West Indies, South Africa, New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are among the participants. World Cup fixtures are already announced and you can get all updates and information about the World Cup Schedule

This time, World Cup schedule is different than the previous editions. However, all teams placed in a single group. Each team will face all other remaining teams once in group matches. At the end of all group matches, 4 teams will make their place into the semi-finals whose winners will face each other in the World Cup final. Total 48 World Cup matches will be played in 11 cricket stadiums of 10 different cities. However, Southampton, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Taunton, Nottingham, London, Chester-le-Street, and Bristol are among the hosting cities. The maximum number (6) of cricket world cup matches including a semi-final will be held at Old Trafford, Manchester. Edgbaston, Birmingham will host another semi-final and 4 group matches. World Cup final will be held at Lords, London. However, the cricket stadium will also host 4 group matches.

World Cup opening match will be held between host England and South Africa on May 30. On the other side, Pakistan cricket team will begin their world cup campaign on May 31 by playing against West Indies. World Cup semi-finals will be held on July 9 and 11 whereas the final contest will be held on July 14.
