In an interview, Maria shared the painful memory of losing her two children, when she was 22-years-old, a loss that has profoundly impacted her.
She revealed that the death of her child was the most difficult challenge she has faced."When I lost my child, it was a massive shock," she said. "The pain of losing a child is incredibly overwhelming, and I was unable to speak or even hear anything for a while. It was the sound of the Azan that first brought me back to my senses. I believe that with Allah’s support, a person can face any hardship."
