Caesalpinia Bonduc

Caesalpinia Bonduc (other names: Gray Nicker, fever nut, Bonduce nut and Caesalpinia Bonducella) is a species of senna flowering plant that has a pantropical distribution. It grows in hot regions in Asia mainly in Sri Lanka, Burma and India. Its seeds are 2 centimeters long, gray colored with a smooth shiny surface, also called nickernuts. Seeds resemble to eyeballs. It's plant, seeds and leaves are used in and as different kinds of medicines. Caesalpinia Bonducella seeds are rich in stearic, palmitic, ligoceric, and oleic acids.
