Gawahi TV is a premier TV channel of Christian community living in Pakistan. It is a Karachi based channel that started its transmission back in 2013 with an aim to spread the message of Jesus Christ to the humanity. The GTV is basically a non-profitable channel and linked with interchurch evangelical teachings in Pakistan. The mission of Gawahi Channel is to give correct information about Christianity to both Christian and non Christians (who are not allowed to church or masses). Gawahi TV is also running many Youth awareness program through which they are trying to improve the knowledge of young generation. Their target is to reach million people as much as they can all over the Pakistan.
Over the two and a half year of 24/7 broadcasting, the channel is catering 12 to 14 million people in Pakistan. They are providing a great zeal of teaching among people and receiving a warm appreciation, especially from women and youth of both Christian and non-Christian backgrounds. GTV is planning to arrange a set up of eight studios and media center in main cities of Pakistan include Islamabad, Hyderabad, Lahore, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Sargodha and Sukkur. They are also focusing on to record programs in both provincial and tribal languages to spread the Gospel teachings in local languages include Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashto, Baluchi, Siraiki and others. The programs that telecast on Gawahi channel are Pegham-a-Ilahi, Khuda Kay Loug, Aaj Ki Gawahi, Sachai ki Gawahi, Khawateen-e-Bible, Tilawat e Kalampak, and Youth Awareness.
