My Encyclopaedia
Dedicated to my Father!

Encyclopaedia:
When people want to understand the meaning of something, they use a dictionary and when they want to know the details of something, they take help from an encyclopaedia.

My Father:
I also have an encyclopaedia in my life, which I use whenever I need help. I got help and that encyclopaedia is my father. Whether that help is related to civilization or education.
Assalam o Alaikum! My name is Samra and I belong to the city of Taxila. While all relationships are very important and special for me, this relationship is also very special, that is, the relationship between me and my encyclopaedia, My father.

Appearance,Personality and Profession:
My father is a middle-aged man whose age is 62 years, but despite his age, he looks younger than his age and maybe it is because he has not aged himself. Now his hair is turning white, but it makes his personality more beautiful. Of medium height with a wheatish complexion and a thick moustache on his face, he appears to be a tough guy to anyone who sees him for the first time. And the impression of his personality is that he is a retired army officer or a police officer, while he is not, he is a retired government employee who has earned his livelihood by working honestly and conscientiously all his life. His profession is definitely a government job, but he is also an excellent poet whose book is eagerly awaited by his children and friends.

His life:
While I am introducing my father as a poet, I would like to add some more details. My father, Waheed Hussain alias Nashad, was born on 10 March 1960 in Kori Dulal, Tehsil Gujar Khan District, Rawalpindi. The chain of education also started from there, but due to financial problems after the death of his father, it could not continue. After the death of my grandfather, the responsibility of all the siblings fell on my father's shoulders, which he did well.He was like a father to his siblings. He left his education due to problems, but he did not stop acquiring knowledge and this is proof of his love for poetry, Urdu, literature and knowledge.

My Role Model:
In my life, I have learned from my father hard work, honesty, and love of knowledge. During my travels, I learned to read and understand everything from the banners outside the shops to newspapers, copies, books, all that is possible because of my father. He helped us in reading, writing and learning although he was not able to get his edication. That's why I admire him.
It is a natural process that Allah Almighty has given writers and poets a sensitive heart. This sensitivity compels them to observe everything deeply and this is the reason why my father is a sensitive person who cares for others , a friendly, loving, tolerant, compassionate and virtuous person. There will be many people, including me, who get angry at people's mistakes, but my father is a person who is patient even on every difficult issue by simply saying that there is room for it. And throughout his life, he made room for forgiveness for those who did wrong, for those who kept making mistakes and for those for whom there was no room. And these are all the reasons that compel me to call him an encyclopaedia, because I have learned from him the lessons of hard work and honesty, patience, tolerance and, above all, learning to find space.

If I know how to read and write, all this has been possible thanks to his efforts. We are five siblings and educating all of them must have been a difficult puzzle for all parents and still is, but despite all the problems, he has gifted us all with the jewel of education.

He always advises that, success is not that a person knows everything about everything, but success is that a person has expertise in the field he is in.

My father is an excellent human being, a good poet, an honest employee and, above all, an excellent father who spent forty-two years of his life earning a living and running a household. I am the darling daughter of my father, about whom he says that the life of the king was in his parrot, so my life is in my daughter and all of us siblings took advantage of those things. Whenever we had something to demand, my siblings would send me to him because they all knew that I would take advantage of being a darling.
I have learned the way of life and manners from my father. He is the best human being, the best poet and my best friend.

Just as he prays for my success and health, I also pray for his health and well-being. May Allah bless all our parents, Amen۔
