A SUDDEN TRANSITIONAL PHASE

(WAQAR MAHMOOD KHAN, Dubai-U.A.E)

Diversification, determination, distinction, distinguishment and a dignified differentiation are the standards of idealism that mark excellence and splendiferousness in an extraordinarily resplendent mode of execution.

An individual must direct his endeavor towards the attainment of constructive goals particularly those that ensure stability and smooth running of a society and its people.
To live for one’s self mustn't be the primary objective of an individual. However, contrary to it, to strive for the betterment and welfare of others must be equally important for him (the individual), at the same time, in addition to caring of himself all alone.

It’s quite general a tendency that everybody lives for himself but what’s even more important is that a person must be very much careful while dealing with others as well; especially in relation to others’ rights and their sensitive position in a particular society.

“Never underestimate the difference you can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out, help and try your level best to reach someone, who is in urgent need of you in terms of finance and other issues associated thereby”.

I have no words to admire a wonderful Arabic proverb which instigates us to help others in any way one can:"If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart."

Striving for the betterment of others will bear a tremendous fruit and will; necessarily ensure an excelling outcome in this world and the world hereafter. “You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction, as hard work is a key to success and a fabulous reward.”

What I think is that living for others is the biggest luxury of an individual’s life. However, it’s really a dreadful reality that many of us are unaware of the fruits of living for others and helping them at the time of their need.

Here certain questions arise…..as to why are, we the caretakers of ourselves only and not of others ?? Why we are only concerned with ourselves?? Why are we the well wishers only of ourselves ?? After all, why do we demand and desire what sounds only good for us and ill of others ??

To me, it seems as if we are passing through a rapid transitional stage which somewhat sounds to be endless and having no way out. Moreover, we aren't being taught in a way by which education is actually imparted. But where the fault lies in? Are we so dull and dumb to get ourselves educated properly or is there an irreparable fault in the education system of ours’ ??

The extremely horrible condition of our Palestinian brothers is in front of us. Who’ll help them if not WE ?? They are being attacked brutally and hundreds of them have been killed in less than a week, but have we become so selfish that never do we take the trouble of coming out with an intention to help our Muslim brothers?? Have we become those who deliver emotional speeches just to condemn ruthless killings and are never worth on a practical ground ?? Where are the Muslim human rights’ activists and organizations'?? Is all whatever being done at Gaza on the expense of liberty?? What is the reason ?? Where is the cause for which all this is dramatically an effect ?? Gaza is entirely burning and where are we?? LONG LIVE PALESTINE !!! ……. LONG LIVE GAZA !!!
Have we forgotten how are forefathers were ?? Do we know who we are ?? Do we recognize our worth ??

What wonderful Pakistan's national poet Dr Iqbal says:

(There is no standard by which to judge Yours and your father’s worth.
You utter words but they did deeds. They roamed: you stay at home.)

Now, it’s time for all of us to come into the battleground, confront all challenges lion heartedly, ponder on the above questions on a very serious note and actively participate in the well-being of others .This will certainly guarantee a well-established and a smooth-running society that’s free from all problems and to which we may regard the one that promotes peace, calmness, and tranquility.
