Khursheed Backs NAB for Placing Sharif’s Name on ECLIslamabad (February 14, 2018): Following the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) letter to interior ministry to put Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar names on Exit Control List (ECL), the opposition leader Khursheed Shah has also demanded to place their names on ECL.“Implementing on NAB orders interior ministry should place the names of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar on ECL,” PPP leader said in a statement.Click Play Button To Watch This VideoHe warned if interior ministry did not follow the orders of NAB than PPP leader Sharjeel Memon, who is behind the bar in 5.76 billion rupees corruption charges, should be released and his names should also be removed from ECL.Opposition leader reminded that Nawaz Sharif was the major obstacle in implementation on charter of democracy (CoD) as he had made ridiculous CoD in Memo Scandal, however Nawaz Sharif’s all negative points PPP supported him when he was trapped in hot water.“There is essential continuity in  peace, supremacy of people and Parliament and democracy, however every institution should work by restricting in their limits,” he said.Earlier, the spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhary praised National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for placing the names of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain retired Safdar on Exit Control List (ECL) and said that it was a welcome step.Talking to media in Lahore, Fawad Chaudhary lashed out at interior minister and said that action would be taken against interior minister Ahsan Iqbal for not putting the name of Ishaq Dar’s name on ECLClick Play Button To Watch This Video“Imran or Pervez Khattak or any other leader is not supreme from law and even if PTI does the wrongdoing it should also be tried,” he said.He went on saying that government was creating barriers in implementation of NAB orders as without accountability of influential elimination of corruption was not possible.Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday asked the Interior Ministry to place the names of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain (r) Safdar on the Exit-Control List.NAB wrote a letter to the Interior Ministry in which it recommended that the names of Maryam Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif and Captain (r) Safdar to be placed on the ECL as it voiced fears that the suspects could travel outside the country.This comes in the wake of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s appeal to the court to grant them immunity from appearing at hearings since Kulsoom Nawaz was ill and was about to undergo important tests in London.A spokesman from NAB confirmed that the bureau had written the letter to the Interior Ministry regarding placing the names of the suspects on ECL.Earlier on Wednesday, Chairman NAB approved interim references to be filed in accountability court against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Al Azizia and Flagship references.According to sources, new evidences against Nawaz Sharif, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz  are part of interim references and details of new off shore companies of Hassan and Hussan are also part of it.Click Play Button to Watch this Video The new evidences are made part of interim reference in Al Azizia case.The sources further said that NAB would file both the interim references in accountability court today.It is pertinent to mention here that NAB had summoned Nawaz Sharif to clarify his position and record his statement over the issue but lack of cooperation and refusal to appear before NAB Rawalpindi from Sharif had forced NAB to file references against him.Related News:PPP Does Not Support Call for Early Elections: Khursheed ShahNawaz’s Movement For Justice Incomprehensible: Khursheed Abbtakk english Abbtakk Pakistan Abbtakk Updates English English News Khursheed Backs NAB for Placing Sharif's Name on ECL 14-02-2018 Pakistan Pakistan News
