ہے سوا نیزے پہ سورج کا علم
تیرے غم کی سائبانی بھی نہیں
منزلیں ہی منزلیں ہیں ہر طرف
راستے کی اک نشانی بھی نہیں
آئنے کی آنکھ میں اب کے برس
کوئی عکس مہربانی بھی نہیں
آنکھ بھی اپنی سراب آلود ہے
اور اس دریا میں پانی بھی نہیں
جز تحیر گرد باد زیست میں
کوئی منظر غیر فانی بھی نہیں
درد کو دل کش بنائیں کس طرح
داستان غم کہانی بھی نہیں
یوں لٹا ہے گلشن وہم و گماں
کوئی خار بد گمانی بھی نہیں
