“President Zardari, A Ticket Seller In Cinema”

I too often remember that day
when a “Ticket Seller” in a cinema of his own father, became the president of
Pakistan! As Mr. Zardari in his first address to the nation claimed that
“Pakistan Khappey!” was really appreciated and welcomed by the whole nation and
certainly it should have happened so! But as the time passed, the nation
realized slowly that its decision to choose Mr. Zardari as a president of
Pakistan was completely wrong! Actually the nation didn’t cast their votes for
Mr. Zardari but he received votes due to Benazir Bhutto’s assassination and
fully availed this opportunity!
Pakistani nation sympathetically accepted Zardari as a president and embraced
him hoping that he, after chanting the slogan “Pakistan Khappey” would surely
make good decisions for Pakistan’s sovereignty and nation but regretfully he
hurt the feelings of the whole nation and the slogan “Roti, Kapra or Makaan” was
completely obliterated and in this way, he has harmed or damaged the name of
Bhutto family and PPP’s prestige which the nation will not bear and forgive him!
If we compare previous government with Zardari government, we see that
inflation, unemployment, terrorism, energy crisis and others rapidly grew and
still hardships have opened their mouths to gobble us! Corruption has broken the
record and people are being derived of their basic needs. People are in search
of a bit of morsel. When Zardari took charge of the president, he should have
made his own policy for the betterment of Pakistan but he preferred the previous
government’s policies and weakened Pakistan a lot! Today, our own security
forces are insecure sadly!
When an ordinary person raises his finger towards the president and wants
accountability of Mr. Zardari, PPP’s devotees say that these are allegations on
Zardari and chant a slogan “AIK ZARDARI, SAB PAY BHARI”. I think this slogan is
real and I concede it as true because he is indeed the heaviest personality who
the whole nation doesn’t want to bear further and we are tired now! We need
change and we are waiting for a personality who, by the grace of Allah, will
surely better the situation in Pakistan and take care of Pakistan’s sovereignty
and the nation!
