NA-3 Swat Election 2024

NA-3 Swat is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. The constituency was known as NA-29 (Swat-I) from 1977 to 2018, the name was changed to NA-3 (Swat-II) after the delimitation in 2018. The total population 867243 the number of total Registered voters in National Assembly Constituency is 401124 in which Male voter 227864 and Female voter 173260. This constituency extent in three tehsil two main tehsil is Babuzai tehsil and Barikot tehsil and some area of Kabal tehsil. The populated area is Mingora city. In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-3 Constituency of KPK Province. These candidates were Saleem Rehman, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef, Sharyar Ameer Zeb, Abdul Kareem, Hujjat Ullah. Saleem Rehman won the elections by receiving 68280 votes as MMA candidate. His other competitor Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef was who received 22758 votes. In election 2013 PTI candidate Murad Saeed receive 88513 and PMLN candidate Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha Lala receive 242212 votes. Now in election 2024 there were 12 candidates from different political parties who participated under NA-3 Constituency. The Dr Sherbaz Khan from ANP . Shahryar Amirzeb from PPP . Wajid Ali Khan PMLN , Akhtar Ali Khan JIP , Saleem Rehman PTI , DR Qaiser khan JUI , Usman Ghani PTIP .Shaukat Ali , Saleem Iqbal Saif Ullah Khan and Adalat Khan are independence candidates. The competition was between four candidates Dr Sherbaz Khan from ANP Saleem Rehman PTI Shahryar Amirzeb PPP Wajid Ali Khan PMLN. Dr Sherbaz Khan candidate from ANP was doctor from profession he belong to well know family of swat is uncle was former chief justices of Pakistan and was caretaker PM father was tehsil Nazim he is strong candidate in this Constituency he can get vote on behalf of is family background and party votes well go to him. Candidate of PPP Shahryar Amirzeb was grandson of wali Swat he can get strong votes due to is family. PTI Candidate Saleem Rehman who was former MNA from this Constituency can only get vote from is party people are not satisfied from him .Wajid ali khan former minister of KPK is candidates of PMLN was also strong candidate. DR Qaiser khan JUI was also strong vote in this Constituency other Candidate was not strong The first problem facing by the people of this Constituency is Water supply there was no proper water supply system second was traffic system of Mingora city , On health side there was teaching hospital in this Constituency but there was lot of load in this hospital overall there was no health issue traffic and water issue are main issue of this Constituency. The education side there was some problem lack of schools sports side there was no grounds. One other main issue is flood because there were no proper drainage system which effect this Constituency badly.
