The people who had come with a marriage proposal were sitting in the guest room, and the boy was with them too.
She saw him, he was quite decent and well-educated as well.
But he came from a modest, lower middle class family.
She herself belonged to the middle class, but she was very beautiful and the only daughter of a widowed mom.
She wanted a very wealthy husband.
She wanted everything ready-made …. without any sacrifice.
So, she rejected this one too.
Then fate dealt her such a blow that she had to accept a proposal from a very rich but bald, fat, widowed man.
It was the same boy she had rejected twenty-five years ago for being poor.
