Remarks Of Anchor Person Kashif Abbasi About Army Chief

During the talk show with Sheikh Rasheed on evening of 23rd jan Mr Kashif Abbase the anchor person of ARYNEWS TV channel said in a counter question to Sheikh Rasheed that why Army Chief became Sultan Rahi on the incident of Salala check post and not on so many incidents of killings of civilian. This i am putting in decent words otherwise the words he used are not worthy of being used by an anchor person. He said almost something like civilian khune and foji khune. I want to clarify to Mr. Kashif that Army Chief is directly responsible for the border activities and there are civilian set ups responsible for incidents in the cities and town. Army chief cannot become Sultan Rahi on murder in the society but he has to give account of himself in telling words when an hostile attack kills his soldiers. Whole nation stood with Army by protesting against the NATO attack but why an anchor person of TV channel is not speaking the language of Pakistani nation. Why he wants to create a wedge between civil and military, why he is using obnoxious words for the Chief of Army Staff who has earned the respect of the nation by making all out efforts we all know for the security and national prestige. If the voice of the said anchor is not in line with the interests of the nation then whose language is he speaking, this needs to be checked. Our media policy makers and TV channel management needs to ensure proper monitoring of their programs and the negative tendencies must be appropriately addressed and any antinational intent or language or remarks must be promptly checked.
