Who care about Shazia and Kainat
(Syed Muhammad Ahmed, Karachi)
I would to like to draw an
attention to Shazia Ramzan and Kainat Riaz Malala’s classmates. Shazia Ramzan
and Kainat Riaz, who were injured when Taliban shot at teenaged rights activist
Malala Yousafzai, are overwhelmed with the news of the rapid recovery of their
15-year-old friend in Britian. She was treated at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth
Hospital.
After all this bad incident happened with these girls, the Government and the
whole nation were just remembering Malala! The other two girls are the same
victims of an incident. Now the girls are recovered purely but why the only
Malala got awarded? Other two classmates don’t show braveness? Mlalala has been
awarded by many. Former British Prime Minister and current U.N. Special Envoy
for Global Education Gordon Brown launched a United Nations petition in
Yousafzai’s name, using the slogan “I am Malala”. U.N Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon
has announced that 10 November will be celebrated as Malala Day, Why not to be
“3 Brave Teen Day”?
Well my request to the Government of Pakistan and others is to highlight another
girls also they were with Malala not only Malala is the victim; Do not forget
the 13 and 16 year old girls.
Thank you!
