The only reason the so called
champions of Pakhtuns’ rights, now enjoying the perks of government in their
native province and in the center, can give in their stance against the KBD is
that it will effects their brethrens in language by displacing them in large
numbers. This is the only reason behind the anti Kala Bagh stance of our
Pakhtuns’ leaders.
Displacement from one’s home and motherland in indeed a very agonizing thing,
and one can feel and practically observe this agony by visiting one of the camps
made for IDPs (internally displaced persons) or by simply talking to an IDP. This displacement of about 3.8
million Pashto speaking people has been taking place in an era when their
masters are no more than their own brothers in language.
Pakhtuns’ leaders have so far succeeded in getting the sympathies of their
brothers-in-language by raising the issue of displacement of them who have their
abode near the site of KBD. But now when the same people have been displaced by
those who were fighting the case of Pakhtuns displacement in the issue of KBD,
what new devices they will coin in order to check the construction of the
proposed dam which is more beneficial to their brothers-in- language living in
the southern districts of Pakhtunkhwa.
And it is also astonishing that the money and aid begged at the name of IDPs are
being devoured by white collar thieves under the nose of these champions of
Pakhtuns’ rights.
These champions were first ready to attach our destiny with worshipers of cow,
and then with the Godless people of Red Storm and now do not hesitate in selling
the blood and honor of Pakhtuns to the Yankees. If unchecked they are even ready
to give practical shape to the designes of the Yankees who are bent upon
snatching our dear motherland from us in the guise of war against terror.
