Another great news struck my
mind last night. The trial of ex-president and army chief Mr.Musharaf has
indulged people in another controversy of whether or whether not. Although the
allegations risen politically and through media on Musharaf has strong support
from the common man but the run to punish the ex-president under article 6 of
the constitution became meaningless when the (so called) custodian of
constitution said in lower house of Parliament that though he has personally
forgiven him but has no reservations if a unanimous decision is made for the
trial of ex-president Musharaf for his unconstitutional steps. Everyone knows no
unanimous decision can do this job. Earlier in July, the Supreme Court declared
Nov 3 act of Musharaf unconstituitional but afterwards no further practical
development seems to be on the way against Musharaf.
Such a body language from the custodians of law and such a disappointing comment
made in lower house (as mentioned above) has not only proved right the claims of
certain PML-Q leaders but also frustrating the victims of Musharaf Policies.
Infect, In this way the so called democratic government is welcoming and
ing the ways of army chiefs and Marshal laws in the future of Pakistan.
The trial of Mr.Musharaf has been controversial right from the end of his regime
and today it has raised many concerns when this matter is not seriously taken in
the Government It is un-understandable that what is the reason behind forgiving
Musharaf? What is the idea of not getting rid of NRO? Why are we letting world
know that constitution has no importance in front of the rulers of this region?
I beleive most of the questions would be either ignored or if insisted can be
answered in the private cells of agencies as it has happened before with many
journalists.
What happened in Lal Masjid, whoever killed Akbar Khan Bugti and who so ever
sold Aafia Siddique for dollars is our national enemy (not hero). I must say
that those in power, if they were exaggerating the presidency of Mr.Musharaf
only to get themselves in power then let the history tells you that you will be
dragged more recklessly on earth, no matter how many "peers (saints)" you have
in your family. We see you and we observe your actions very well. A common man
doesn't know who and how many people laid down their lives for democracy, rather
he wants justice for injuistice. I ask those in the authority again that if they
still forgive the traitors of our society; if you still think that Marshal laws
and all the unconstitutional steps can be uprooted by symbolically condemning it
in black and white: you not only disappoint 16 crore nationals but also urge the
black sheeps to isolate and even disintegrate Pakistan.
It is the time for self-made youth to rise and play their role in national
interest by participating in politics. We can't let Jaagirdaars fetch our right.
We all own this land
