After much rumors, break-ups,
denials and persuasions the Dabbang Khan of B-town is all set to host the
upcoming season of celebrity reality show, Bigg Boss season 8 in India.
According to the reports, the superstar has demanded an exorbitant amount of Rs
3.5 crore (approx. £ 350,000) to host the show’s premiere event.
The event is scheduled to be held in London in September 2014 and Khan, who has
a massivefan following in the UK, is not ready to compromise on the fee amount.
Keeping his popularity in mind, the channel – Colors TV has agreed to pay the
amount along with an additional amount of Rs 50 lakh for his staff's travel and
accommodation.
The reality show’s teasers
are making waves not in India but globally too. The star power combined with
controversies and scandals make Bigg Boss a hit amongst the masses.
Although the official list of celebrity contestants have not been revealed yet,
but actor and model, Upen Patel has reportedly been signed as the first official contestant.
It is yet to be seen if,like its previous seasons, Bigg Boss 8 will have a
contestant from Pakistan or not.
Others expected celebrities
who are rumored to be signed include comedian Bharti Singh, TV
celebrityAlokNathand actress Amisha Patel.
The show scheduled to begin in the first week of October 2014.
