We love posting on Facebook, right from the new
outfit we just bought to what we had for dinner. Why do we do it? What
we say to ourselves is, “we want our friends to share our excitement.
That’s totally cool, after all we like and share such images and posts,
right? But beware some of your actions actually make you seem insecure.
Pay attention to these.

People with romantic posts.
According to a new research, people who post more about their
boyfriends/girlfriends are more likely to have low self-esteem.
Actually, people who tend to feel insecure in their relationships are
more active on social networking sites, posting status updates, writing
on their walls, and commenting and liking on their posts to get
attention. |
|
People who show off their possessions (laptop,
phones, etc).
Some people just like to show off their things. They only post so that
others would know about their new purchases because they feel a little
insecure about other’s possessions. |
|
People who post every little achievement in their
life.
Facebook status updates regarding personal and professional achievements
most likely indicate that the person is a narcissist and he or she is
seeking “attention”. |
|
People who share EVERYTHING.
These people are those who share anything and everything on Facebook.
These people tend to be more carefree and spontaneous than others, but
they tend to be a little insecure as well, which explains why they
overcompensate by sharing EVERYTHING. |
|
People who constantly check-in.
These people tend to check-in everywhere they go, be it a market, a
restaurant or even a temple. Their primary motive for doing so are said
to be their insecurities that make them want to show everyone that
they’re living the good life.
