Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme 2026
The Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme 2026 is a financial assistance program launched by the Government of West Bengal under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. It was announced in the state budget for 2026-27 and formally notified on 13 February 2026 (Notification No. 102/YS). Payments started from 1 April 2026.
The scheme gives unemployed youth a fixed monthly allowance of ₹1,500. It is paid directly into their bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme Online Apply Process
The Phase 1 Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme online apply window closed on 26 February 2026. The government may open a fresh application window. Check yubasathi.wb.gov.in or apas.wb.gov.in for the latest updates. Below is how the online application process works, for when the portal reopens:
Online Application Steps
- Visit the official Banglar Yuva Sathi portal: yubasathi.wb.gov.in or apas.wb.gov.in
- Click on "Apply Online" or "Register"
- Enter your mobile number and verify it with the OTP sent to your phone
- Create a password and complete registration — your application ID will be generated
- Log in to your dashboard and open the application form.
- Fill in your personal and educational details
- Enter your Aadhaar-linked bank account number and IFSC code
- Upload scanned copies of all required documents (see list below)
- Review all entries carefully and click "Submit"
- Save the Application ID that appears on screen. You will also receive it by SMS.
Note: The online portal was available only between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM during the Phase 1 window (due to high server load during the day).

During Phase 1 (15 to 26 February 2026), camps were set up in all 294 assembly constituencies across 23 districts of West Bengal. At each camp:

What Happens After Application?
