CM Punjab School Meal Program 2025

The CM Punjab School Meal Program 2025 is an initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Punjab in which the government provides nutritious meals and milk to primary school children in Punjab. The aim of this program is to improve the health of children in Punjab so that their academic performance also improves.

Who Will Benefit from the Meal Program?

Initially, 40,000 students from 3,527 schools in the districts of Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, and Dera Ghazi Khan will receive a 175 ml milk pack daily to combat malnutrition and dropout rates, and this number will keep increasing as this program expands towards more districts of South Punjab, especially in rural areas.

Impact of This Program:

With the help of this program, over 35.7 million meals have been consumed, and 55 thousand new enrolments were recorded in schools.

Sustainability Effort:

Students benefiting from this program are encouraged to return their empty milk packs for recycling to teach them environmental responsibility. Around 13 million milk bags will be recycled every month, and the money earned from it will be used to improve school facilities.

Who is Eligible to Receive the Free School Meal Program?
