What Is the CM Punjab SEHR Program?

SEHR stands for Skill Enhancement Through Home Reach. The SEHR Program is a women skill training initiative launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. It was officially launched in June 2026 under the Women Development Department (WDD) of the Government of Punjab.

The main goal of SEHR is to give women practical, career ready skills without asking them to leave their homes. Many women in Punjab cannot attend regular colleges or training centers. It could be because of distance, family responsibilities, or financial constraints.

The program is implemented by the WDD Punjab, with three implementing partners:

  • Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) for the digital skills track
  • The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) through ITHM for the hospitality track
