NADRA Juvenile Card (JV)

The NADRA Juvenile CNIC, originally known as the Juvenile Card (JV), is a smart identity card issued by NADRA for Pakistani citizens under 18 years of age. The card plays an important role in school admissions, passport applications, and legal identification. A Juvenile CNIC is different from a Child Registration Certificate (CRC or B-Form).

NADRA Juvenile CNIC Renewal Online

Contrary to many other NADRA services, the NADRA Juvenile CNIC renewal online process is currently not available. To renew their JV, applicants are required to visit a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) in person along with a parent or legal guardian. The following steps will take place in the NRC:

• Biometrics of the child and the parent (or guardian in the absence of parents).
The child’s photo is captured.
• Required documents will be submitted, including the original juvenile card, the child’s birth certificate (CRC), and CNICs of parents or guardians.
• The form needs to be attested by a blood relative or gazetted officer.
• Fees are paid based on the selected service (Normal/Urgent/Executive).
• Delivery of the card depends on the service selected.

NADRA Juvenile CNIC Verification Form

The NADRA Juvenile CNIC verification form is provided to the applicants to make sure that the information provided by them is accurate. Once the applicant’s data (photo, fingerprints, parent details) is gathered, a printout of the application form is provided by the NADRA official for verification.

Parents or guardians need to check and verify if all the provided data is accurate including names, CNIC numbers, birth dates, etc. It is to prevent any errors before final submission of the application form. The NADRA Juvenile CNIC renewal process involves several in-person steps. Here's a step-by-step breakdown:

• Gather the child’s original Juvenile Card, child’s birth certificate (CRC), parents’ CNICs, and guardian documents (if applicable).
• Visit your nearest NRC with the child and one or both parents.
• Take a token and wait for your turn.
• Upon your turn, submit the documents.
• Get the child’s picture captured and complete the child's and mother’s biometrics.
• Answer questions in a short verification interview to cross-check details.
• Receive the printed form and verify the information.
• Get the form attested.
• Submit the form.
