Nigehban Ramzan Package: All You Need to Know

The Punjab Nigehban Ramzan Package 2026 is the largest provincial relief program in Punjab’s history. CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved a budget of Rs. 47 billion to help needy families during Ramzan.

This program provides cash, free or subsidized ration bags, and free meals to around 4.2 million families, benefiting roughly 10 million people across the province. The main goal is to ensure every family can celebrate Ramzan with dignity.

Key Benefits of the Punjab Nigehban Ramzan Package

• Each eligible family receives Rs. 10,000 through the newly issued Ramazan Nigehban Cards.
• Families who normally receive Rs. 3,000 under the regular Rashan Card program will get the full Rs. 10,000 during Ramzan.
• The package also includes ration bags for free or with up to 40% discounts. They may contain essential items such as 10 kg of flour, rice, sugar, ghee, and pulses.
• The program runs eight daily Nigehban Dastarkhwans per tehsil. They serve free meals like biryani, milk, and fruits to 2,000 people per center.
• Sahulat Bazaars have been set up in 65 locations across 30 districts to offer essential goods at lower prices.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Punjab Nigehban Ramzan Package 2026:

• Must be permanent residents of Punjab. Also hold a valid CNIC.
• Monthly household income should be below Rs. 60,000.
• The family’s PMT (Poverty Means Test) score must be below 30%.
• Must not be high-grade government employees (Grade 17 and above).
• Families must not own luxury vehicles.

Families already registered with BISP or Ehsaas are usually included automatically.

How to Register

Punjab Nigehban Ramzan package registration can be done via the following methods:

• Send a 13-digit CNIC without dashes by SMS to 8070.
• The Punjab Nigehban Ramzan package check online option is also available via the PSER Portal. Families can add their details and confirm their status easily.

Once eligible, the government will deliver Ramzan Nigehban Cards door-to-door.

How to Use Ramzan Nigehban Cards?

Once Punjab Nigehban Ramzan package apply online process is completed, you will get your cards. They can be activated at:

• Bank of Punjab ATMs.
• One of 136 activation centers set up across the province.

After activation, the Rs. 10,000 cash can be withdrawn from:

• BOP ATMs
• Branchless banking agents
• One Link ATMs

Ration bags are delivered directly to homes through Pakistan Post or local agents.

Important Dates

ATM card distribution and activation centers are expected to become fully operational after January 30, 2026.
