The CM of Punjab launched the Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2 to financially help the talented undergraduate students of Punjab. This scheme will provide up to PKR 120,000 per year to 30,000 selected students.
This program aims to help those students who have talent but don't have the financial means to pursue higher education. It will help those students focus on their students rather than worrying about the finances.
The scholarship is open to students in public sector universities and colleges in Punjab and certain federal/private sector universities. It covers fields like engineering, MBBS, BDS, computer science, business, agriculture, law, arts, and more.

Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2 Eligibility
Following is the Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Program phase 2 eligibility criteria:
- Age: No restriction
- Must have a Punjab domicile
- Family’s monthly income: Less than Rs. 350,000 (for public university/college students) or less than Rs. 500,000 (for federal/private university students).
- Must be enrolled in the 3rd to 8th semester of MBBS, BDS, or any one of the approved programs.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
- Public/federal/private sector university or college: 70% in sciences or 65% in arts/social sciences.
- Public sector MBBS or BDS student: 80%.
- HED college: 65% in sciences or 60% in arts/social sciences.
Selection is based on combining 30% of your matric marks and 70% of your intermediate marks.
