The Sindh police faceless e ticketing is a new digital system to manage traffic violations in Sindh. It removes face-to-face interaction with traffic officers. Instead, cameras and technology automatically detect the violation. This system started in Karachi in late 2025 and is now becoming a major part of traffic control in Sindh.
The purpose is simple: make traffic rules fair, fast, and fully transparent. No one has to deal with manual tickets, arguments, or confusion. Everything is recorded through the system. In the first few weeks alone, more than 30,000 e-challans were created through this digital system.
How the Faceless System Works
The process is easy to understand. AI-powered CCTV cameras watch the roads. When someone breaks a rule like speeding, running a red light, or parking in the wrong place, the cameras capture it. Soon, drones will also be used for parking violations. After detection, the system creates an e-challan automatically and sends it to the vehicle owner’s mobile number or email.
Expansion to Other Cities
Sindh Police is preparing to expand this system to more cities. The DIG Traffic Karachi said that all resources are being checked first. This includes road cameras, recording systems, storage capacity, and technical tools. For parking violations, ground scanning and aerial scanning will be used. Scanners and drones will help detect no-parking cases.
The IGP Sindh has also ordered every DIG to train their teams and set up facilitation centers. Once the review is complete, the faceless e-ticketing system will be launched across more districts.
The Automated Traffic System to Pay Challan
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah recently launched the automated Traffic Regulation and Citation System (TRACS) at the Central Police Office. TRACS replaces the old manual challan process with a fully automated system that uses AI cameras to catch violations in real time.
This system removes personal judgment and reduces arguments between drivers and officers. People can also visit TRACS Sahulat Centres at major traffic offices and police stations. They can pay fines, ask questions, or contest a challan there.
