According to Bangladeshi media reports, five judges have also resigned, along with the chief justice.The Bangladeshi students had called for a siege of the high court and demanded the CJ resign. The students questioned why the chief justice called a full court meeting without consulting the government, adding that no conspiracy of the defeated forces will be tolerated.Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder has also resigned but his resignation has not been accepted given the importance of the position, finance ministry adviser Salehuddin Ahmed told reporters.
