Ingredients
  1. Big green chilles- 1
  2. Boiled Potatoe- 1 Big
  3. Turmeric- 1/2tsp
  4. Red chilli powder- 1/4tsp
  5. Salt- 1tsp
  6. Cumin seeds- 1tsp
  7. Coriander Seeds- 1tsp(crushed)
  8. Onion- 1small(chopped)
  9. Ginger-1tsp(grated)
  10. Chat Masala- 1tsp
  11. Coriander leaves- Small bunch
  12. For Batter:
  13. Besan- 1cup
  14. chilli powder- 1tsp
  15. turmeric- 1tsp
  16. Soda water- 1/2cup
  17. oil- for fry
  18. salt as per salt
Method
  • 1. Deseed the chillies by making slit and scraping out the seeds.
  • 2. For Filling: Grate the potato then add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds, chopped onion, grated ginger and chat masala.
  • 3. Mix all these ingredients and coriander leaves together to make the filling.
  • 4. For Batter: Put Besan, turmeric, red chiili powder, salt and soda water in a bowl and mix well.
  • 5. Rest the batter for 30 min.
  • 6. Stuff the chillies: fill the slit and deseeded chilli with potato mixture.
  • 7. Coat the stuffed chilli with batter mix.
  • 8. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the chillies till nice and golden brown.
  • 9. Serve hot with sauce.

Can I add some achaar masala in the recipe of aloo bhari mirchi kai pakoray? I think it make it more sour that is good for eat.
