Chocolate syrup
Chocolate syrup refers to a thick, sweet, sticky liquid, consisting of cocoa powder, corn syrup, sugar base, natural or artificial flavorings, and water. Chocolate syrup is a type of condiment that is usually added to food to increase the chocolate. In addition to common uses of chocolate syrup (over ice cream, mixed in milk) the syrup's consistency lends itself to being a toast spread-saturating it but not soaking through.
