Kewra syrup

Kewra syrup, stemming from a palm-like tree cultivated in India, have a delicate, floral scent and can be used to flavour foods, particularly Northern Indian sweets. It has a sweet perfumed odor with pleasant quality similar to rose syrup. For preparing Kewra syrup, you need Water, Lime, Sugar and Kewra Essence or oil. Kewra Essence can be prepared by distillation of leaves and kewra flower. Make kewra syrup in following manner :1.Dissolve sugar in water, while boiling it.
